        Travel Documents & Entry Requirements

        • Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay, with at least 2 blank pages for entry/exit stamps.
        • Visas may be required for Zimbabwe and Botswana depending on nationality. A KAZA Univisa(valid for both Zimbabwe & Zambia, plus day trips to Botswana) is often the best option.
        • It is the traveler’s responsibility to check and arrange necessary visas before travel.

        Health & Safety

        • Vaccinations: No mandatory vaccines are required, but Yellow Fever vaccination may be required if you are traveling from a Yellow Fever zone.
        • Malaria: Both Victoria Falls, Chobe, and the Okavango are malaria zones. Consult your doctor for prophylaxis and bring mosquito repellent.
        • Travel Insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance (covering medical, cancellations, and evacuation) is mandatory.

        Accommodation & Comfort

        • Lodges and camps are comfortable mid-range safari accommodations. Upgrades may be arranged upon request.
        • Some accommodations are in remote areas with limited Wi-Fi and phone signal, ensuring a true wilderness experience.

        Safari & Activity Notes

        • Safari activities (game drives, boat cruises, mokoro excursions, bush walks) are weather-dependent.
        • Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, though this itinerary maximizes opportunities across diverse habitats.
        • Walking safaris require a basic level of fitness. Mokoro rides may not be suitable for travelers with severe mobility issues.

        Packing & Luggage

        • Soft bags are recommended (max 15–20kg) due to limited luggage space on transfers.
        • Pack light, neutral-colored clothing, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, sturdy walking shoes, and binoculars.
        • A detailed packing list will be provided prior to departure.

        Money & Payments

        • The official currencies are the US Dollar (USD) in Zimbabwe and the Botswana Pula (BWP) in Botswana.
        • Credit cards are accepted in major towns and lodges, but carry small denominations of cash for tips and minor purchases.
        • Gratuities are not included but are customary for guides, drivers, and lodge staff.

        Transfers & Logistics

        • Airport transfers are included as per itinerary.
        • Road transfers between destinations can be long (up to 4–6 hours). These drives, however, showcase scenic landscapes and rural life.
